Wet weather is not a problem. Around the housing, the IPX4 weatherproof construction takes rain, snow and cold without complaint, and the carbon fiber infrared element does the heating quietly — no hum to raise your voice over while you work or sit outside.
Mounting is part of the package: the telescoping ceiling mount places the heater 17–23 inches from the ceiling, which keeps floor and wall space clear. Because the heat is directional, you can aim it at a bench, a doorway or the one seat somebody always claims.
An 8-foot power cord reaches any standard 110V outlet, and no special wiring has to be arranged.
